SURVEY
The aim of the survey was to map demands and expectations of the
Moldovan PhD candidates in two important areas: (1)
intersectoral academic mobility (cooperation with knowledge-based
industries) and (2)
research management (including transferable skills). Results of the
survey have been used for narrowing and specifying the
training course
content and composing the
recommendations
for the final report to the Moldovan
stakeholders.
Based on results from various international surveys
the following aspects of the research management have been screened
during our mapping survey among 240 Moldovan PhD
candidates: RISK ANALYSIS, CONFLICT MANAGEMENT, WORK-LIFE BALANCE
and PRIORITISING, STRATEGIC THINKING and GOAL SETTING,
CROSS-CULTURAL SKILLS and INTERNATIONAL NETWORKING,
COLLABORATION BETWEEN INDUSTRY AND ACADEMIA, TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER,
TIME MANAGEMENT, DATA MANAGEMENT, DECISION MAKING, INTERNATIONAL
WRITTEN COMMUNICATION, TEAM WORK and LEADERSHIP, LOBBYING SKILLS,
RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, CAREER PLANNING, RESEARCH ETHICS |
