HANDS-ON SKILLS in MOLDOVA
— an international development co-operation project based on the
following key concepts:
* Research management
is seen as an integral part of a modern doctoral curriculum in many
European universities.
* Transferable skills are
crucial from the perspective of support academic and intersectoral
mobility based on university-industry partnership and innovations.
* Career development of
doctoral candidates requires a fruitful co-operation from every
stakeholder in R&D area in order to build a knowledge-based society.
The main aim
of the project was to rise value of research management skills by
introducing the current European tendencies to the Moldovan PhD
candidates.
The project was divided into 3 stages,
one of each has focused on specific mechanisms and activities:
first stage (January 1 – May 31,
2009): project initiation, survey design, conduct and analysis,
report publication;
second stage
(June 1 – August 31, 2009): training course activities, media
coverage;
third stage
(September 1 – December 31, 2009): final recommendations in
policy report and
project’s conclusion. |
